The campaign is built around a simple idea – replacing boring fried chicken choices with bold flavour experiences inspired by Popeyes®’ Louisiana Cajun heritage. Anchored by the message, ‘BoringHatao. Bold Ko Laao.’, the campaign encourages consumers to choose bold flavours of Popeyes® Fried Chicken that truly stands out. The campaign has been rolled out in South India, which is the largest market for the brand. Jubilant Foodworks currently operates 48 Popeyes® restaurants in South India, making the region a key growth market for the brand.
The campaign features Rashmika Mandanna, one of India’s most loved youth icons, whose energy and relatability reflect Popeyes®’ bold, youthful personality. Her association brings cultural relevance to the campaign as the brand connects with a new generation of consumers.
