Three of the National Capital Region’s most prestigious golf courses — Qutab Golf Course, Classic Golf Resort, and Jaypee Greens Golf Resort — will host the second edition of the Qutab Golf League (QGL) 2025, starting November 7 at India’s first public golf course, the Qutab Golf Course (QGC). The League will span four weeks and five match days, culminating with the Grand Finale on December 6, 2025, at QGC.
Organized by Game of Life Sports (GOLS) and Digraj Golf Inc.
The League, conceptualized by Game of Life Sports (GOLS) founders Amit Kharbanda and Samant Sikka, aims to make golf more exciting and inclusive in India. GOLS has partnered with Digraj Golf Inc. (DGI), known for successfully managing premium golf events in the country.
QGL 2025 will follow a Team Championship Format featuring 10 teams, each comprising 14–16 players, with a total of 159 golfers confirmed. Top Indian Golf Union (IGU) players such as Karan Chauhan, Keya Badugu, Yogya Bhalla, and Vinamra Anand (Icons); Zara Anand (Charlie’s Angels); Mehak Lohan (Swinging Shers); and Ayesha Gupta (Ishum Eagles) will participate.
Match Schedule
The League will be played over five match days:
Nov 7 & 14: Opening Rounds – Qutab Golf Course
Nov 21: Third Round – ITC Classic Golf Resort
Nov 26: Fourth Round – Jaypee Greens Golf Resort
Dec 6: Grand Finale – Qutab Golf Course
*Teams and Inclusivity*
The 10 teams competing are Charlie’s Angels, Swinging Shers, Icons, Ishum Eagles, Casual Gurus, Vox Spartans, Metro Legends, Albatross, Drive Squad, and Ultimate Stix.
Each team must include:
2 women players
1 junior (under 18)
1 government/armed forces/senior (60+) player
(A single player may fulfill multiple categories.)
*Competition Format*
Matches will be played in Matchplay Format — Singles Matchplay for the first two days, followed by Doubles (Four-ball Better Ball) on the next two. Teams will be divided into two groups of five. Wins earn 2 points, ties 1 point, and losses 0. Additional holes played after a result will yield 0.5 “BYE” points. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Finals.
On the Final day, two events will run simultaneously — the Main Championship Trophy for the top four teams and a Plate Championship (Stableford Event) for the remaining six.
