A perfect timing

Casio’s global watch brand G-Shock has announced Indian opening batsman Shubman Gill as its new India brand ambassador.

In his new role, Gill will promote the brand and announced the partnership by promoting G-Shock’s classic all-black models GA-2100-1A1DR and DW-5600BB-1DR.

On being asked about what playing in the World Cup means to him, he replied,”it’s very special for me because it’s my first World Cup. I have childhood memories of playing cricket and it’s going to be a very proud moment to represent my country.”
