Shivani Rajashekar opts out of the Miss India 2022 race

Shivani Rajashekar was set to represent Tamil Nadu in this year’s Femina Miss India pageant. However, the actress recently took to Instagram to share that will be opting out of the race, citing her health and college exams as the reasons.

“I missed out on a majority of training and grooming sessions….first because of my medical theory exams and then when I was down with malaria”, she shared.

The 21-year-old thanked her well-wishers while also wishing good luck to her fellow contestants. The Femina Miss India 2022 pageant is set to take place on 3rd July 2022 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. However, the competition would not see any representation from Tamil Nadu this year.
